The Town seeks public input on the use of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Individuals who live, work, and/or own a business in Middleton can click the link below to complete the Town's survey. Residents can also provide feedback by emailing arpa@middletonma.gov.
This survey is part of the town's effort to design a transparent, accessible, and equitable project selection process for allocating funds. The survey will take about 7-9 minutes to complete.
For reference, the four main categories for municipal spending via The American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) are:
1. Respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency or its negative economic impacts, including assistance to households, small businesses, and nonprofits, or aid to impacted industries such as tourism, travel, and hospitality;
2. Pay workers providing essential work during the COVID-19 public health emergency;
3. Provide government services to the extent of the reduction in revenue to the Town due to the COVID-19 public health emergency in the most recent full fiscal year; and
4. Make necessary investments in water, sewer, or broadband infrastructure.
Additional feedback on how the Town can use ARPA funds can be submitted via email to arpa@middletonma.gov.
