Mail Box Closure-10-31

The Town of Middleton’s Mail-In ballot drop box located at Memorial Hall, 48 South Main Street, will be briefly closed from 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st until 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 1st. Residents wishing to return their vote by mail ballot should plan to drop off their ballot either before or after that time. Reminder-Vote by Mail ballots being dropped off are due by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd. Please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 978-774-6927 or with any questions.

Municipal Offices Reopening 

Municipal Offices: Municipal offices remain open Monday-Thursday from 9AM-1PM and the number of visitors remains limited in order to protect the
public and staff. Face coverings are required unless there is a medical reason. These hours and restrictions will remain in place indefinitely. 

Residents are encouraged to continue utilizing the Town’s website to pay bills and transact other business. A drive-up drop box is available to drop off payments and other documents. Please check department web pages for specific information about transacting business.

The Inspectional Services Department Office will be reopening to the public by Appointment Only starting Monday, June 1, 2020. In addition to reopening by appointment only, the following safety measures have been put in place:

  • Only one person at a time will be allowed in the Inspectional Services Office
  • Masks are required at all times when in the Inspectional Services Office
  • Please do not visit if you or a household member has symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with someone that has  symptoms

Please call 978-777-2850 If you need to schedule an inspection.
Picking up of permits and dropping off of documents will continue to happen using the drop box outside the office.
