[ARCHIVED] Non-Emergency Town Offices Closed Until Noon Tomorrow, March 14th

Middleton Town Seal

Due to the ongoing weather conditions, all non-emergency Town offices will continue to be closed until noon tomorrow, Wednesday, March 14th. This includes Memorial Hall (48 South Main Street), Flint Public Library (1 South Main Street), Council on Aging (38 Maple Street) and the non-DPW offices at 195 North Main Street.

The Town is dependent on the cooperation of all residents and business owners to keep our public ways safe during the snow season and asks for the continued following safety reminders:

  • Please do not shovel or plow snow into public roads.
  • Cars parked in roadways during snow removal operations can impede snow removal progress. Residents are reminded to park their vehicles off-street during these events.
  • Please be sure to check on elderly neighbors and friends who may need assistance.
  • Clear hydrants of snow. If you notice your hydrant is covered with snow, please assist the Town by shoveling around the hydrant if clearing can be done safely. The Town is receiving assistance from the National Guard and the Sheriff’s Department in the clearing out our 400 hydrants.
  • Clear stormwater catch basin grates of snow near your property. Please take appropriate safety precautions when clearing snow in a public street.
  • If your roof needs to be cleared of snow, safety information can be found at:
