May 19th – 24th is National Public Works Week
Imagine a day, week or year not having passable roads & sidewalks to bring you to work, school or play. Or being unable to dispose of refuse and recycling, not having access to drinking water or having no fields as recreational space to utilize. Our lives would be drastically different.
These, and many others, are tasks our local and state public works employees help to provide 24-7-365 with humility and pride.
Instead of taking these services for granted, let’s use this time to say “THANK YOU!” to our hard working men and women of our local public works team that help make Middleton the great community it is.
