Municipal Facilities Complex Information
On Friday, August 30, 2019, the former Middleton Golf Course at 105 South Main Street was conveyed from Corbeau LLC to the Town of Middleton. The Town is grateful to the generosity of the Brown family for the opportunity this offers Middleton.
Immediately following the conveyance, the Town commenced with creating a master plan of the property. The plan will have two primary components: laying out the municipal buildings that will eventually be constructed on the property (fire station, police station, community center/council on aging, and town hall) and determining the approximate size of the first building which will be a fire station or a combined fire and police station. In early September, the Town executed a contract with HKT Architects. The Master Development Planning Committee and HKT kicked off the planning process with a visioning session on September 23, 2019.
The success of this planning process is dependent on the active participation and input of Middleton residents. The Committee and HKT have set a meeting schedule that will run through the fall and early winter. Meeting dates are listed below. All of these meetings are open to the public. Several of the meetings are specifically dedicated to gathering public input. In addition to the meetings, you will see us at community events like the Pumpkin Festival on October 26 and the Winter Festival in December. Wherever we can reach Middleton residents you are likely to see us.
This planning work is expected to conclude in February 2020. We will then be meeting with stakeholders, boards and committees, and other community groups to present the final plan and answer questions. This will lead up to a Special Town Meeting in March 2020. At the Special Town Meeting we will request funding for the first building project.

Finally, as concept plans, sketches, and other documents are prepared they will be posted here.
